The committee, headed by the Director of School Education will monitor the performance of the scheme assessing its impact on the children and also to suggest corrective steps, wherever necessary, a notification of the Directorate of School Education said today.
Formation of the committee is direct sequel to the deliberations at the meeting of the Programme Approval Board of the HRD Ministry in May 2014 in Delhi, it said.
The other members the Principal of Pondicherry Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (run by Puducherry government), academics of the government run colleges, dietician of the government general hospital and officials of the Education Directorate.
