A district court here today admitted a complaint filed by a JD(U) leader against Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP) president Arun Kumar for his objectionable remarks against Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
The statement of the complainant Chandrika Prasad Yadav, who is the Jehanabad district JD(U) leader, was recorded in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Daya Shankar Singh.
The court posted the matter for hearing on July 10.
While addressing a press conference along with BJP and LJP leaders on June 27, Arun Kumar alleged that members of a particular caste (Bhumiyar) were being targeted in Barh and Mokama areas in the wake of the arrest of MLA Anant Singh.
"We are not wearing bangles and will break chest of the chief minister for hurting our respect," Arun Kumar, who is Jehanbad MP, had said.
