K Karuna Sagar, in a complaint lodged with Saroornagar Police Station yesterday, said that the Delhi CM had posted a cartoon over the JNU row on Twitter which was carried by an English daily.
He alleged that the cartoon "hurt" his religious sentiments and also the sentiments of crores of Hindus, and sought for necessary action against Kejriwal by registering a case, Inspector S Lingaiah said.
"No case has been registered so far...The complaint has been forwarded for legal opinion. We will act accordingly based on the legal opinion," the Inspector said.
