Condition of girl attacked in public toilet stable: Doctors

The condition of a six-year-old girl, who was found attacked in a public toilet, was stable but she continued to be in ICU, doctors said today.
Doctors said they were awaiting the results of medical examination to confirm whether she was sexually assaulted.
The girl was attacked in a public toilet in south-east Delhi's Gautampuri yesterday and police are awaiting a medical report to ascertain whether she was sexually assaulted.
"The girl is stable but she is still in ICU. She underwent a surgery but has coped up well," a senior doctor at AIIMS said.
The girl also had a sharp cut on her neck.

The girl's uncle said that she had resisted the assault.
