Congress workers today staged a demonstration at the Head Post Office here protesting the Centre's move to discontinue postage stamps featuring former Prime Ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi.
PCC president A.Namassivayam MLA, who led the agitation, said Centre should immediately revoke its decision as it was "born out of political vendetta and vindictive attitude."
Congress Legislators and office bearers of the PCC and other wings of the party were among those who participated in the demonstration and they raised slogans against the Centre.
