Cong asks district units to assess crop loss due to rains

In view of destruction of rabi crops in Rajasthan due to unexpected rains and hailstorm, Congress here today directed its district units to form a three-member committee each to visit villages and assess the damage.
Pradesh Congress Committee president Sachin Pilot has asked the district presidents to file their reports at the party headquarters by March 2 so that the affected farmers could be provided relief as per the calamity norms, party spokesperson said.
