BJP state president Ashok Parnami today accused state Congress chief Sachin Pilot and AICC general secretary Ashok Gehlot for "delay" in taking plight of Beawar LPG cylinder blast victims and aggrieved family members. Nineteen people were killed in an LPG cylinder blast during a wedding function on Friday night in Beawar town of Ajmer district. "Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje met the families in Beawar and also directed officials to take relief measures, but Pilot and Gehlot could not find time to meet the victims and bereaved families," Parnami said at a press meeting today. He also asked the Opposition to shed its "negative attitude" to everything that the state government does. "BJP has won various elections in past and accepts its debacle in recent bypolls result. The government is sensitive and working for the development of the state. The always negative approach of the Opposition does not suit the role. They need to shed their negative attitude," Parnami said. Replying to a question on PNB multi-crore scam, Parnami said the accused involved in the scam will not be spared and the Congress should introspect before levelling allegations against the government, he said. Cornered over a recent order on transfers in education department, he clarified that transfers of teachers will be made as per the policy. Recently, the state education department sent out a letter to BJP MLAs and district presidents of the party, asking them to send recommendations for favourable transfers of their relatives who work in the department.
