"We in Kerala are not going to make any attempt to put hurdle for the tie-up. Whatever may be the decision, it is not going to have any impact in Kerala," he said in response to queries during a cabinet briefing here.
Chandy said a decision in this regard has to be taken by party's central leadership and state leaders of West Bengal on the basis of political situation of that state.
On selection of candidates, Chandy said people prefer to elect candidates who work for them and take interest on various issues affecting them.
