"It seems the bureaucrats in the state did not want to settle the displaced persons under a well hatched conspiracy," Singh said while interacting with a deputation of refugees at Vijaypur in Samba district.
"Several months back, the Centre had asked the state government to forward the required details of displaced persons, refugees, camp and non camp, for their settlement, but the matter is still facing official apathy," he alleged.
"It is the high time to accept the demands and also appoint a nodal officer for the displaced persons of 1965 and 1971 so that they can project their demands before the authorities," Singh added.
