Cong MLA condemns Maoist attack in Chhattisgarh

Expressing anguish over the Maoist attack on Congress leaders in Chhattisgarh, party legislator today said it was an attack on the democratic values.
"It is an attack on democratic values which needs to be condemned by not only political parties but society as a whole," former Minister and MLA Inderwal, G M Saroori, said in a statement here.
"The Chhattisgarh government is answerable for reported lack of security arrangements for Parivartan Yatra, besides the government has failed in protecting legitimate political activity and has brought into question the whole security issue," Saroori said.
