The Congress and the NCP leaders today held a meeting in Mumbai to discuss the floor strategy to be adopted by the Opposition in the monsoon session of the state legislature beginning in Nagpur on July 4.
In a break from convention, the monsoon session will be held in Nagpur, the second capital of Maharashtra, instead in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) president Ashok Chavan has asked the party's legislature wing to corner the BJP-led NDA government on floor of the House by aggressively raising the issues concerning the common people.
He was speaking at a meeting of the coordination committee of the Congress Legislature Party.
Chavan said the state government has failed on all fronts.
