Cong workers protest Vikhe Patil's exclusion from Sai temple

Local Congress workers today staged a blockade on Ahmednagar-Manmad road protesting exclusion of the Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Assembly Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil from the new board of directors of Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust.
Vikhe Patil, a senior Congress leader, is the local MLA.
Kailas Kote led the protest which stalled the traffic for an hour, Shirdi police said.
Local BJP leaders Rajendra Gondkar, Shivaji Gondkar and Sachin Shinde also expressed disappointment about the local leaders not getting representation on the new board of SSST.
State BJP chief Raosaheb Danve, who was in Shirdi today, said there was no provision of appointing local MLA to the board.
He assured that fifty percent representation to local people on the SST board.
