Amid the constant rise in fuel prices, a local Congress leader along with some locals today took out a 'Shav Yatra' or funeral procession of a motorcycle on a hand pulled cart here.
Decorated with flowers, the cart with motorcycle was pulled by Congress leader Suresh Mishra and some others.
They took out the symbolic procession for nearly one and a half km area in Bhankrota area. Fuel prices have put extra burden on people and have disturbed their budget. But the government is taking no measures to control the prices, Mishra said.
He said there is outcry and resentment among the public and the government should immediately take steps to provide relief.
