Constable allegedly commits suicide in Raj

A police constable allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan in a police quarter in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan, police said today.
Surendra Singh Jat (34), posted in Police Lines area, hanged himself last night, they said.
The incident came to light this morning when his wife found his body, a police official said.
The reason for the suicide is not clear yet and the matter is being investigated, he said, adding that the body has been handed over to the family members.
