Constable held for aiding attackers

A constable has been arrested in Rohini for allegedly shielding persons accused of trying to kill a lawyer.
The accused constable, Krishan Kumar, is posted in the Special Staff. On May 29, a lawyer named Virendra was shot at allegedly by two men as they had an ongoing property dispute with him. However, he had a narrow escape as the bullet hit another lawyer.
The two accused were arrested and it was found that they are friends with Kumar. The accused had several phone conversations with him and the weapon used to attack the lawyer had been handed over to the constable, police said.
It has been found that he was also involved in arranging the weapons for them. He has been arrested and is being interrogated, police said.
