Constable suspended over suicide of youth in UP

A police constable has been suspended in connection with the alleged suicide of a youth here and a probe ordered against him, police said today.
Constable Satendra Yadav has been suspended and a departmental probe ordered against him, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Rakesh Singh said.
Lokesh Kumar allegedly committed suicide on Monday by hanging himself from the ceiling fan in his house in Barsana town.
His uncle told police that Yadav incited his nephew to bet on IPL matches. The youth loaned a large sum of money for betting and was being pressurised by the lenders to repay it.
