'Constantine' showrunner Daniel Cerone has insisted that the NBC series is not cancelled.
The network recently declined to order a full 22-episode season, leading fans to fear for the show's future, reported Deadline.
However, Cerone took to Twitter to explain that "producers are confident" about a potential second season.
"'Constantine' has higher ratings than 'Hannibal' and climbing," he wrote. "Hannibal got second season. So keep watching!"
He added: "NBC wants our success and DC is a beast. Won't say die.
