The construction work of a path between Chambaghat to St. Lukes School in Solan town was stopped by the Army, Urban Development Minister Sarveen Chaudhary informed state Assembly on Wednesday.
Replying to a question by Solan MLA Dhani Ram Shandil, the minister informed the house that the land on which the path was being constructed pertains to the Army which got the work stopped in November, 2018.
Municipal Council Solan has requested the Army Authority for necessary permission to restart the construction work, she said, adding that the response has not been received so far.
