Asking Pakistan to control "Jehadi Forces" and stop ceasefire violations, National Conference patron Farooq Abdullah today said dialogue with Islamabad has no meaning until tragedies are created in India by terrorists.
"Pakistan must try and see that ceasefire violations do not take place -- that their (Pakistan) territory is not used by the terrorists to create tragedies in India.
"So long as these tragedies are created, dialogue has no meaning," Abdullah, also Union New and Renewable Energy minister, told reporters here on the sidelines of a function here.
"What Pakistan must do is to try and control Jehadis working there. Unless that is done, the move forward (on the dialogue front) is very difficult".
"No problem between India and Pakistan can be solved without dialogue. Let us be clear on that. Dialogue is very essential."
The Union minister was replying to a volley of questions on ceasefire violations and the Syrian crisis.
"Every Indian do not want a conflict. We do not want a war. War brings tragedies. We appeal to America and the United Nation for peace. Do not choose methods of war".
"What we must do is that the United Nations should sort out the trouble amicably rather than using guns," Abdullah said.
