"Our party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has sought an appointment with Governor ESL Narasimhan to apprise him of the party's stand on the need to convene the assembly and move a resolution to keep the state united, which will bring the stand of all political parties to the fore," YSRCP deputy floor leader B Shobha Nagi Reddy told reporters here.
She said that the YSRCP would write to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, requesting him to convene the AP legislative assembly, while YSRCP MLAs would meet the assembly speaker with a similar request.
Alleging that Congress and TDP are responsible for the proposed bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, she claimed that the TDP which gave a letter accepting bifurcation of the state, is now speaking in a different voice.
