Cop shot at by militants in Pulwama: Police

Suspected militants today shot at and injured a policeman in Pulwama district of Kashmir, police said here.
Head Constable Mohammad Shafi was fired upon at Murran Chowk in Pulwama, 32 kms from here, this afternoon while he was on duty, a police official said.
He said the cop was rushed to a nearby district hospital with injuries to his left leg.
The condition of the injured cop is stated to be stable, the official said.
