Traders said sentiment in copper remained bearish after the metal fell to nearly 12-week low in global markets ahead of industrial output data from China, the biggest consumer of base metals.
Meanwhile, copper for delivery in three months was little changed at USD 6,840 a metric tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap fell further by Rs 3 to 433 per kg.
