Cops announce Rs 50000 reward for information on riots accused

Police have announced a reward of Rs 50,000 for information on the whereabout of absconding gangster Harender, an accused in the Muzaffarnagar riots case.
Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Kumar said Rs 50,000 would be given to anyone providing information leading to his arrest.
Harender, a resident of Mohdpur Raisingh village in the district, is wanted in 11 cases of murder and loot. He has been absconding since the 2013 riots in which over 60 people were killed.
