Coriander prices fell Rs 216 to Rs 11,932 per quintal in futures trade today after speculators reduced positions amid sluggish demand in the spot market against higher supplies.
Besides, weak export demand too weighed on coriander prices.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, coriander prices for delivery in September month fell by Rs 216 or 1.78 per cent to Rs 11,932 per quintal with open interest of 21,710 lots.
Also, the price for August delivery declined by Rs 208 or 1.74 per cent to Rs 11,760 per quintal with open interest of 39,290 lots.
Traders attributed the fall in coriander prices to weak demand against higher supplies in the market.
