The company's Vice Chairman V Ravichandran would look after the affairs following the resignation of Managing Director, Coromandel International said in a filing to BSE.
".. Kapil Mehan, Managing Director, has resigned from the services of the company for personal reasons and the Board has accepted the same today. He will be relieved with effect from close of work on February 13, 2015," the filing said.
Mehan joined the company in 2010. He was working with Tata Chemicals as Executive Director before that.
The company is part of Chennai based-Murugappa Group and manufactures a wide range of fertilisers.
