Domestic steelmaker Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) on Thursday said several arrangements have been made at its plants and offices across India and abroad to protect employees amid the coronavirus outbreak.
It has been ensured that each employee is screened for body temperature, and hand sanitisers and masks have been made available at all offices and facilities, the company said in a statement.
Large gatherings have been prohibited at JSPL centres and non-company officials entering its facilities and offices are thoroughly being scanned, it added.
JSPL Chairman Naveen Jindal said that "employees have a key role in running the business and their well-being and good health is a top priority for us. A team of specialist doctors is monitoring and overseeing the preventive arrangements being put in place at all offices and plants."
