Corruption, unemployment on rise in Haryana: CPI(M)

CPI(M) today alleged that corruption and unemployment have increased in Haryana under the Bhupinder Singh Hooda-led Congress government.
CPI(M) politburo member Sitaram Yechury, addressing a rally, jointly organised by CPI(M) and CPI, here said that "corruption" is rampant in all spheres in Harayna while youths fail to get jobs because merit is not the criteria in the state.
He also lashed out at the Hooda government over alleged land scams and failure on all fronts.
Lashing out at the Congress and the BJP, he said both the parties "have been safeguarding the interests of the corporate sector for taking unlawful benefits from them."
He said 12 parties would meet in Delhi later this month to prepare ground for non-Congress, non-BJP government at the Centre.
State secretary of CPM Inderjit Singh said the party would contest five Lok Sabha seats in Haryana and announced the candidates of CPM and CPI for these seats.
Phool Singh Sheokand (CPM) from Hisar, Ram Kumar Behbalpuria (CPM) from Sirsa, Master Sher Singh(CPM) from Bhiwani, Mam Chand Saini(CPI) from Karnal and Arun Kumar (joint CPM and CPI) from Ambala would be the candidates, he said.
Haryana has a total of 10 Lok Sabha seats.
CPI's national secretary Amarjeet Kaur in her address said "people have now understood that only Left parties could save the country from crisis created by the Congress and BJP.
