At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, cottonseed for delivery in May contracts moved down further by Rs 8, or 0.37 per cent, to Rs 2,172 per quintal, with an open interest of 63,710 lots.
Also, the cottonseed oil cake delivery for most-active April month contracts was lower by Rs 6, or 0.28 per cent, to Rs 2,137 per quintal, having an open interest of 96,420 lots.
Market players attributed the continuous fall in cottonseed oilcake prices at futures trade to slack demand from cattle feed makers.
