"We want a Bharat model that will give us prosperity, security and health," Togadia said while replying to a query on whether India needs a Gujarat model or any other model of development.
He was speaking on the sidelines of a function here.
Togadia said the VHP was working to ensure a strong bond among citizens of the country.
He also gave details of a "Hindu Helpline" to provide assistance to citizens in the need.
Togadia, also the national president of 'India Health Line', which aims at collecting blood for various blood banks all over the country through its annual blood donation drive, appealed to people to donate blood.
