Body of Sonu Bai (21) was found lying in a pool of blood while her husband Bondariya Singh (22) was found hanging from a tree close-by in Nanpur police station area, Alirajpur Superintendent of Police Kumar Saurabh said.
It appears that Bondariya killed Sonu using a spade, which was found near the bodies, and then he hanged himself in "remorse", Saurabh said.
The cause of death and other facts will emerge in the postmortem report, the Officer said, adding that investigations are underway in this connection.
