According to Superintendent of Police S Chinappa, the bodies of 24-year-old Nagendra and his wife Sangeeta (22) were found hanging from the tree this morning.
The couple had got married on May 1 and Nagendra had come to the village to take Sangeeta home, he said adding, investigations are on to determine the motive of the crime.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem examination, he added.
