Naresh (25) was returning to his village on a motorcycle with his wife Rinku (22) from Alipur (Uchana) village last night and when they reached near village Panihar, an unidentified vehicle hit their bike, police said.
Naresh died on the spot while his wife Rinku succumbed to her injuries during treatment in a hospital, police said.
The couple was married just three months ago.
The driver ran away from the spot along with the vehicle after the accident.
On a complaint of Ramphal, the brother of the deceased Naresh, police has registered a case against the unidentified driver of the vehicle.
