Sonu (19) was kidnapped from his house by his neighbour, identified as Pooja, and three others on January 1, Inspector Kotwali City Shyovir Singh said.
The father of the kidnapped youth approached Etah city police to lodge an FIR but the cops refused to file report, he said.
He then submitted an application to SSP Etah but yielded no result. He finally approached a local court, which ordered lodging of an FIR against Pooja, Gopal Munni Devi and two others in the matter yesterday, he added.
