A conciliatory pact was arrived at among Rosemary Angelina alias Lilly, 87, her son Roch Luis Francis and his wife, Martha Francis after the octogenarian approached a Metropolitan Magistrate Court here.
It was agreed that the elderly lady will be allowed to live peacefully in the house.
In September last, Metropolitan Magistrate K Anandavel here had directed Roch Luis Francis, and Martha Francis, not to prevent the elderly woman's entry into the house till such time the case was settled.
When the case came up for hearing, Magistrate K Anandavel directed Protection officer, Social Welfare Department and Police to execute the conciliatory pact.
The magistrate said "if the man and his wife fail to comply with the conciliatory pact, either arrest them or remove them from the shared household.
