Court extends custody of accused in BSP activist murder case

A local court today rejected the report submitted by police, giving clean chit to two accused in connection with BSP activist murder case and extended their judicial custody till May 21.
According to prosecution, BSP activist Rajkumar was allegedly shot dead by two assailants, identified as Kapil Kumar and Sushil Kumar, at Shoram village in the district over some election related enmity after the Assembly polls concluded on April 10.
Police in its report submitted to the court under section 169 CrPC, gave clean chit to the two accused saying no evidences were found against the accused.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Narender Kumar today rejected the report and extended the judicial custody of the accused till May 21.
