Court rejects bail petition of RS horse trading accused

A special CBI court today rejected the bail petition of industrialist R K Agarwal, who is in judicial custody in connection with the 2012 horse trading case.
After hearing arguments on the bail petition, the court of R K Choudhary delivered the judgement.
The case had led to scrapping of the original notification issued by the Election Commission to hold polls for Rajya Sabha in April that year and held fresh polls the following month.
The CBI took over the case after the seizure of Rs 2.15 crore from a car and police alleged that it belonged to Agarwal's relative.
