Speaking to media persons here, CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury criticized the government for the "deteriorating economic crisis, intensifying communal polarization and undermining parliamentary democratic norms."
The agitations are planned to be held between August 1 and August 14.
"The economic condition is deteriorating, communal polarization intensifying, Centre-state relationship deteriorating, parliamentary democratic norms are being undermined. The sum total of this is actually undermining the Republican order of the country and imposing greater burden on people.
Yechury added that the campaign fortnight will highlight "drastic cuts" in MNREGA allocation and "undermining" of food security commitments by the Centre, besides taking up local issues.
He said CPI (M) will support the protest launched by Bhoomi Adhikar Andolan (Movement for Land Rights) against Land Acquisition bill.
The Rajya Sabha member added CPI (M) will also extend support to the September 2 general strike called by trade unions, including its frontal outfit CITU, against alleged attacks on the working class.
It charged the government with making false claims regarding economic growth with regards GDP and manufacturing sector and with causing agrarian distress.
"The services sector, which was rapidly growing in recent years, is seeing a fall in the basic index that is used to measure its growth, during the last three months.
