Creed's frontman Scott Stapp has released a video saying he is homeless and broke.
In the 15-minute-long video, posted on his Facebook page, the musician claims he is a victim of financial theft that has left him penniless, reported Us magazine.
"Right now I'm living in a Holiday Inn, by the grace of God, because there's been a couple of weeks I had to live in my truck," Stapp, 41, said.
"I had no money, not even for gas or food. I went two days without eating because I had no money and ended up in an emergency room.
"About eight weeks ago, I began an audit of not only my record company but my personal finances. During the course of that audit a lot of things were uncovered. A lot of money was stolen from me or royalties not paid," the singer said.
Stapp said those who stole money would try to slander him while assuring fans that he has been sober contrary to the claims of his estranged wife Jaclyn.
Jaclyn recently filed for divorce and has alleged the singer is addicted to amphetamines, crystal meth, and steroids.
The rockband, formed in 1993, started with Stapp, guitarist and vocalist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall, and drummer Scott Phillips. Marshall left the band later 1999. The band disbanded in 2004, reunited in 2009 and briefly in 2012.
