The Toahana MLA, who was appointed as the Haryana BJP new chief yesterday, said BJP for the first time had come to power on its own in the state and therefore people have high hopes from this government.
"That's where the challenges come and I fully accept it. We are committed to implement all the promises we made in our poll manifesto," the 47-year-old leader said.

A new organisational set up would also be put in place soon and Coordination and Monitoring Committees would also be formed, he said.
Barala thanked his national leadership for entrusting him with the responsibility to head the state unit and said that whenever need is felt they would consult the RSS.
"We are proud to say this that we draw strength from the RSS on ideological front," he said.
Haryana Cabinet Minister Ram Bilas Sharma, who was also present here said he earlier headed state unit in 1990 and in the last month's state assembly polls, the party had registered win when he was the state chief.
"It's been a long journey of struggle for us all through these years. Now, the BJP is in power in Haryana and I have full faith and confidence that under Barala ji the party would be further strengthened and touch new heights," Sharma said.
He also said that the BJP was targeting to enroll 33 lakh members under its membership drive over the next five months.
