The accused 24-year-old Jai Singh started staring at the victim and followed her to a railway station where she had gone to purchase tickets, Government Railway Police DSP Surendra Tiwari said.
The victim later informed the railway police and an FIR was filed against Singh, who hails from Vidhuna in Oriya district. On the complaint, Singh was arrested under 354 B and D sections of the IPC.
He was produced before the magistrate court here last evening and sent to police custody, but was later released on bail.
