According to the CRS team, the inspection report will be submitted to the higher railway authority and accordingly the decision for running of passenger trains will be finalised.
The team members comprised of CRS Sudharshan Nayak, Administrative Officer Ajit Pandit, Divisional Railway Manager Niraj Kumar, Chief Engineer Rabinder Ram and other railway engineers and officials.
Earlier on March 27 last, goods train services from Lumding to Silchar were flagged off by Railway Minister Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu by remote control from New Delhi.
