The CSE index was up 112.52 points. The local bourse was down 58.69 points in the previous week.
The index opened at 5697.89 points and lost ground during the week before it recovered to end at 5810.41 points.
Blueprint was at Rs 307 and Infosys Technologies was moderately higher during the the week and closed at Rs 2384.
Reliance Industries was higher and closed at Rs 690. State Bank of India gained to close at Rs 2013. Tata Steel was lower at Rs 408 at close.
Tata Motors was at Rs 258.10 at close of the week.
