CSK defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 34 runs here last night.
"We played better in bowling, fielding and batting and would like to carry on the momentum in the league," Jadeja said in the post-match press conference.
Jadeja returned impressive figures of 4/12 to leave KKR gasping for breath after Brendon McCullum laid the foundation with a sizzling half-century.
Asked whether he would consider himself an allrounder after his performance with bat in the game, Jadeja said "why only this game, I performed well (with the bat) in many matches earlier too".
With five wins and a loss to Kings XI Punjab, CSK are second in the table behind KXIP.
Jadeja did not agree when asked whether Kings XI Punjab were the strongest in the league.
"I don't believe any team to be strong in T20 matches. All are equally balanced with good batsmen and bowlers and each having four foreign players. A good catch or a good run out can change the game. We lost to Kings XI following a dropped catch which would have sealed the fate of the match in our way," he said.
On whether the truncated tie had affected the team, the Karnataka player said, "Obviously, the match was reduced to 17 overs and our momentum kept going away. I think 2/3 wickets going in a couple of overs also affected and took the momentum away."
Uthappa, whose 47 off 38 balls could not save the team from defeat, said the bowlers gave away a few too many runs, "but still the match is young".
