Cuttack contractor murder case detected

The Commissionerate of Police today claimed to have solved last month's murder of contractor Binod Behary Das after arresting all three persons allegedly involved in it.
A native of Manglabag area of the city, Binod was shot dead in the evening of December 6, 2015 near the foreign liquor shop of his elder brother at Brahmanjharilo bazaar under Cuttack Sadar police station.
The Police Commissioner R P Sharma said all the three accused in the case - Nihar Ranjan Das, Suman Kumar Das and Madhab Das have been arrested.
Police have seized two live bombs and three sophisticated pistols, including the one taken away from the deceased and nine live bullets from them.

Two motorcycles, a laptop, eight mobile phones and nine SIM cards were also retrieved from the accused.
