Rahi informed this to Maharashtra governor K Sankaranarayanan when she met him at Raj Bhavan here today and apprised him about her successful run at the Commonwealth Games.
The Governor congratulated Rahi for her performance and wished her well for the 17th Asian Games to be held at Incheon in South Korea from next month, a Raj Bhavan spokesperson said.
Rahi won the gold medal in the women's 25-metre pistol event in Glasgow. She had also won a Gold at the Commonwealth Games held in New Delhi in 2010.
She informed the Governor that the state government has offered her an officer's job and that she is joining as Deputy Collector in Pune tomorrow.
