Cyient secures Pratt & Whitney award for third time

City-based engineering solutions provider Cyient was awarded the 2014 Supplier Innovation Award at an annual supplier event held in East Hartford, Connecticut, USA.
The event was hosted by the Global Engineering Sourcing Group of Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corporation.
This is the third win and second consecutive time that this honour was bestowed on the company, Cyient said in a statement today.
"Engineering suppliers are expected to innovate as part of doing business with Pratt & Whitney by developing intellectual property, adapting new methods using existing tools and improving standard work, as well as speed and productivity.

"Cyient is the recipient of the 2014 Supplier Productivity Innovation Award for demonstrating a culture of maximum innovation during the year," said Dr. Jayant Sabnis, Vice President, Engineering - Module Centers, Pratt &Whitney.
