D S Ahluwalia takes over as NMDC's Finance Director

Devinder Singh Ahluwalia today took over as the new Finance Director of state-owned iron ore miner NMDC.
Ahluwalia comes in place of S Thiagarajan who retired recently from NMDC after attaining the age of superannuation.
The incumbent joins in country's largest iron ore miner from Rural Electrification Corporation where he was holding the same position, NMDC said in a statement.
A BCoM from Delhi University, he was associated at REC with appraisal, financing, resource mobilisation and treasury management among others. Ahluwalia is also a cost accountant.
Prior to REC, he served at various levels in NHPC for 25 years.
