Dalit hacked to death

A 45-year-old Dalit was today
hacked to death by four persons at a village in the district, police said.
The four, allegedly belonging to the Thevar (caste Hindu) community, have been arrested.
Arumugaraj (45) was brutally murdered at Vellore village tonight, SP Ashwin Kotnis said.
Arumugaraj had filed a case of untouchability against some persons belonging to the Thevar community.
A month ago, Dalit-based Puthiya Tamizhagam party town secretary Bhaskar was found murdered. CB-CID had arrested some persons including the All India Forward Bloc party state youth wing secretary Suresh, in connection with the murder.
