Dalit youth dies after consuming spurious liquor

The incident took place last night when the victim identified as Kamal Kumar, a resident of Balmik Mohalla area, consumed the spurious liquor, leading to his death on the spot, they said.

Meanwhile, the other members of the community staged a protest demonstration against the failure of police to curb the sale of illicit liquor and other intoxicants in the city.

Further probes into the case are on, they added.
