Damage to place of worship sparks tension amongst locals

Tension prevailed briefly in Bhawanpur village following the collapse of the roof of a place of worship linked to a particular community.
Members from the community took to the streets in protests and alleged foul play behind the collapse.
But SDM Arvind Kumar Mishra said that district officials managed to bring the situation under control after assuring the protesters of swift action against any persons found guilty of damaging the structure.
District officials also said they will soon carry out repair work at the place of worship.
